New Balance's 997 was the fourth model in its family and the first to merge two of the brand's shock-absorbent technologies. Surfaced in July 2019, this rework pulls together motifs inspired by Americana and a mixed-material upper to create a patchwork aesthetic. Two-tone 'N' badges decorate the sides and text logos are embroidered on tongue and heel. A pre-yellowed Abzorb midsole completes the vintage look.
