The Air Max 1 upgrades the design of the lifestyle runner with a black suede construction that’s accented with a series of multi-hued tartan patterns on the underlays. The leather Swooshes are tonally stitched onto the quarter panel, while the tongue branding emerges in a patent leather application for a polished finish. The shoe dropped alongside an Air Max Plus and an Air Max 97 that also received the tartan treatment.
