For Air Max Day 2017, Nike released the Nike Air Max 1 Premium ‘Tonal Pack’, a duo of AM1s dipped completely in primary colors. While the Game Royal blue monochrome is simple on sight, a closer look reveals fine details. The upper starts with mesh as an underlay before shifting to nubuck for its paneling and overlays, accented by a shimmering collar. Even the AM1 midsole, often cast in white, comes steeped in the same blue, with the tint also making an appearance on the visible Air unit.
