Inspired by the Pompidou Centre in Paris, architect-turned-sneaker visionary Tinker Hatfield designed the Nike Air Max 1 with translucent heel cushioning. An elevated take on the 1987 classic, this Essential model features a grey and Anthracite upper crafted from mesh and leather. Subtle patterned panels and hits of Team Orange embellish the design. This model was one of many AM1 Essential sneakers to be released in the Spring of 2015.
