A Print Retrospective by Alex Katz includes screenprints, etchings, lithographs and woodcuts. Combining both familiar and lesser-known works, the volume's 63 graphic pieces are a testament to the artist's evolution and exploration of mediums and forms, including several examples of Katz's signature portraiture style alongside landscapes and still-lifes. Organized by Barry Walker and published by the Brooklyn Museum and Burton Skira in 1987, the 110-page book debuted in conjunction with an exhibition of the same name that ran from January to April 1988.
