Prada
Mario Prada founded his eponymous brand in Milan, Italy in 1913, specializing in leather goods. In 1978, Miuccia Prada inherited the house, transforming Prada into a global phenomenon through her distinct creative vision. Under Miuccia's direction, the luxury brand introduced nylon–now considered Prada's signature material–alongside a refined and understated sensibility. In 2020, Raf Simons became co-creative director of Prada, helping blur the lines between luxury, sportswear and streetwear. Today, Prada is among the world's most influential fashion brands, known for its expansive catalog of apparel, sneakers and bags.
