Céline Vipiana founded her eponymous brand as a producer of made-to-measure children’s shoes in 1945, later expanding the brand’s product catalog to include a wide range of luxury styles. In 2008, Phoebe Philo assumed the role of creative director and introduced a minimalist approach to the storied house. Hedi Slimane succeeded Philo in 2018, bringing his unique sensibilities to Celine’s seasonal collections, from apparel and sneakers to accessories and fragrances.
