Initially released in 1996, the Nike Air Rift's design was developed with data obtained from the country's barefoot long-distance runners. This 'Concord' iteration—arrived in May 2015—encourages natural motion thanks to a knitted color block upper and a split-toe innovation. Midfoot and heel straps provide lightweight containment. Air midsole cushioning and a unique outsole tread design are fine-tuned for all-terrain activity.
