The Beyond x Nike SB Dunk High 'White Ivory Sand Dune' celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Finnish skate shop. The collaborative release is inspired by Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto, whose kidney-shaped curved-bottom pools helped to give rise to California's empty-pool skateboarding scene in the '70s. Channeling Scandinavian functionalism, the high-top sports a suede upper in ivory and light tan. The birch-toned Swoosh nods to Aalto's iconic furniture, while the blue patent leather collar mimics the look of glazed ceramic tiles. The rust-brown rubber outsole symbolizes the red brick commonly found in Aalto's building designs.
