The 2020 reissue of the Nike Air Penny 3 Retro ‘Eggplant’ brings back a familiar 2010 colorway of Penny Hardaway’s third signature shoe. The upper combines white leather paneling with purple iridescent Foamposite, the latter material giving the nod to the ‘Eggplant’ Foamposite One that debuted in 2009. A visible 180-degree Max Air unit provides impact absorption under the heel, while a Zoom Air unit delivers responsive cushioning in the forefoot.
