The adidas ZX 420 returned in Summer 2014 in a Bright Cyan-based colorway. The original was released in 1988 as a running-focused style, the last from the line before the introduction of Three-Stripes' torsion system. This rendition includes a lightweight mesh underlay, reinforced with plush suede panels and detailed with reflective elements at the heel. An EVA midsole is installed below for cushioned steps.
