adidas showcases unexpected materials on the women’s NMD_R1 ‘Burgundy.’ Released in March 2017, the lifestyle runner uses a combination of suede and peached jersey on the upper, featuring a rich burgundy hue that extends to the laces, three-stripes and heel tab. The white full-length Boost midsole is secured with EVA plugs in burgundy and grey, while the rubber outsole underfoot is finished in basic black.
