The New Balance women’s KAWHI ‘Christmas’ delivers a special holiday-themed edition of Kawhi Leonard’s signature shoe. The sneaker’s icy color palette is inspired by the Snow Wasset, a creature originating from North American pioneer oral traditions and believed to inhabit the Great Lakes region. In a direct nod to the mythical animal, a graphic atop the tongue depicts a set of claws clutching a basketball wrapped in Christmas lights. The sneaker rides on a metallic silver FuelCell foam midsole, supported by a full-length shank plate and a data-driven rubber outsole.
