The Nike Wmns Air Max 1 SE 'Bright Crimson' celebrates its rich athletic heritage with little 'Air' Swooshes at the heel and side taping with Nike print branding. Back in 1987, Tinker Hatfield created the first Air Max after visiting the Pompidou Centre in Paris. Inspired by the building's transparent glass construction, he revealed the Air Sole cushioning unit under the heel with a see-through window. This version follows the original design but does away with its mesh windows.
