The Nike women’s Air Force 1 Crater ‘Black Photon Dust’ updates Bruce Kilgore’s original 1982 design with a sustainable build. Black paneling on the upper is made with 24% recycled synthetic leather, while the translucent textile that wraps over the forefoot reveals salvaged fabric scraps in a multicolor assemblage. The low-top is mounted on a Crater Foam midsole composed of 11% Nike Grind rubber and standard foam materials. The outsole features speckled Nike Grind rubber under the toe and heel for added durability.
