The original adidas Tubular launched in 1993 was the first inflatable shoe of its time and lasted only two years on the shelves. Determined to recreate the fashion-forward shoe, designer Nic Galway developed the Tubular Runner in 2014. Four years later, in March 2018, the Tubular Doom Sock Primeknit was unveiled. Built with innovative Primeknit material and suede heel strap, the 'Maroon' colorway brings new flavor to the once-rejected shoe.
