The Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance 574 ‘Grey Dune’ delivers a rebuilt version of the lifestyle silhouette originally made for running. A product of the brand’s Tokyo-based design team, formally assembled in 2012 and charged with developing innovative footwear models, the hybrid design takes inspiration from an archival New Balance model dubbed the Trackster. A greyscale finish is applied to the suede upper, featuring a TPU heel clip, reflective accents and breathable mesh at the collar and toe box. The sneaker rides on a lightweight EVA midsole with welted construction and a high-traction Vibram outsole underfoot.
