Never intended for popular release, 2018 celebrated the second-ever collaboration on adidas’ Crazy Boost You Wear silhouette with Los Angeles-based Bristol Studios and clever assists from The Shoe Surgeon. Applying a sculptural approach to the design, the three-piece set, including this ‘Muslin’ iteration, are highlighted by a 3D texture on the quarter and medial side of each. Unusual materials such as aluminum, cardboard, plastic, and suede add to its artistic composition.
