The North Face x Sk8-Hi 46 MTE DX 'Red' features a weather-resistant black suede upper with red laminate ballistic nylon overlays — the same material used on TNF’s ultra-durable Base Camp Duffel. The high-top sneaker includes white TNF logos on the heel, UltraCush sockliners, and MTE 360 technology to keep feet warm and dry. The vulcanized lug outsole, based on TNF snow boots for optimal traction in slippery conditions, rounds out the look. Released in November 2017, The North Face’s second collection with Vans also included a ‘Black’ Sk8-Hi 46 MTE DX, as well as ‘Yellow’ and ‘True White’ colorways of The North Face x Old Skool MTE DX.
