First unveiled April 2012, the TEDxPortland x Air Max 1 'Uncharted Territory' comes by way of a collaboration between Nike and the regular lecture series. 'Ideas worth sharing' in technology, entertainment and design inspired this version of the 1987 Tinker Hatfield classic, executed with a black suede upper and red rope laces atop a crimson outsole. The insoles feature a topographic map of Portland, Oregon, and different print call-outs to underscore the event's theme. This pair was only available to speakers and TEDxPortland staff and never sold to the general public.
