First seen in 1963, the original adidas Stan Smith sneaker was actually branded the Robert Haillet, after its namesake, a international tennis star. After Haillet’s retirement in 1971, player Stan Smith took up promotional duties, donning the Haillet shoe until it was re-named after him in 1978. The Stan Smith Adicolor reimagines the classic’s design, ditching its perforated Three-Stripes for allover star-shaped perforation, dressed in a tonal blue colorway from top to bottom.
