The Nike women’s Air Force 1 ‘Lapis’ is a product of the Serena Williams Design Crew, a collective that partners ten up-and-coming designers with established Nike mentors. A gold zipper secures the purple leather upper, covered in an embossed French lace pattern that reflects the athlete’s penchant for French fashion. Embroidered lines form the signature Swoosh, while leather heel tabs are marked with Serena’s signature. Vibrant pops of color arrive via a botanical print on the custom sockliner. Anchoring the shoe is a durable rubber cuposle that pairs violet sidewalls with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
