The Nike women’s Court Legacy ‘Kente’ delivers a vibrant lifestyle silhouette released under the banner of the Serena Williams Design Crew, an apprenticeship program founded in 2019 with a roster of ten New York-based designers handpicked by Serena herself. The low-top sports a multicolor woven upper inspired by traditional Kente cloth and bolstered with navy leather overlays. A red leather Swoosh is accented with 23 stitched dots, one for each of Serena’s Grand Slam singles titles, while a quartet of gold eyelets represent the athlete’s four Olympic gold medals. Additional branding hits include gilded lace jewels and a Swoosh-embossed license plate at the back of the white rubber midsole.
