The adidas NMD_R1 redefines the iconic running sneaker by borrowing elements of modern outerwear. Released in October 2019, this iteration's white knit upper is given semi-translucent TPU panels, a tone-on-tone tongue label and molded eyestays. The signature pull tab is updated with Solar Red branding text. A Boost midsole inserted with EVA stability plugs and rubber outsole encourage a supported, controlled step.
