Reworking an icon, adidas gave the NMD_R1 premium upgrades and street-ready additions as part of the 'Speckle' pack launched in April 2019. This variant's white mesh upper sports a contrast suede heel, welded Three-Stripes and branding outlining the counter and midfoot. Multilingual typography is echoed on the pull tab and heel tape. A Boost midsole with speckled stability plugs and a rubber outsole manage response and grip.
