Tokyo-based streetwear brand Magic Stick collaborates with Nike to release the Nike Magic Stick x Air Force 1 High ‘07 ‘VIP’ sneaker. A February 2018, Japan-only release, the sneaker was inspired by global nightlife culture, featuring a design that mimics a VIP wristband. Attention to detail is demonstrated in the ankle strap constructed out of Tyvek—the material that VIP wristbands are actually made of—in neon Volt coloring with a snap-hole fastening system, decorated with AF1 branding.
