Originally designed and worn by the badminton champion, the eponymous named Converse Jack Purcell is a modern makeover of the 1972 forerunner. This 'Pink' update—issued in April 2019—reimagines the classic in soft-hued canvas tooled with matching laces, metal eyelets and a contrast toe cap. Signature 'smile' branding is embedded into the toe bumper. A simple midsole with high foxing tape and a rubber outsole stay true to the legend.
