Nike added this 'Black' colorway to the Huarache Type in July 2019. The Huarache Type is part of the experimental N.354 line, which uses their vast archive as motivation in blending old and new ideas. Using the classic Huarache as a starting point, the shoe's upper is pieced together using nylon ripstop, synthetics and dimpled neoprene. Crisscrossing straps and caging offer a fresh approach to lockdown, while the shoe's insole unequivocally names the Air Mowabb as its inspiration.
