Launching as part of the adidas Spezial Spring/Summer 2021 collection, the adidas Hoylake SPZL ‘Grey Power Red’ represents a 1:1 reproduction of an ultra-rare South African Adi runner. The shoe, named for the hometown of the collector who lent the only known model to adidas Spezial curator Gary Aspden, features a grey mesh upper with tonal suede overlays. The neutral finish is contrasted by crimson eyelets, navy leather three-stripes, and a matching navy leather heel tab with adidas Trefoil branding. A tri-colored EVA midsole offers lightweight cushioning with each step.
