The Saucony Hornet ‘Black Grey’ applies neutral tones to a vintage running shoe originally released in 1975. The ventilated upper is crafted from grey mesh with black suede paneling on the forefoot, heel and eyestay. Accented with three cut-out circles, Saucony’s river logo adorns the quarter panel in white synthetic leather. A matching white Saucony wordmark is stamped on a green leather heel tab, giving the shoe an unexpected pop of color. Lightweight cushioning comes courtesy of a white EVA midsole, supported underfoot by a herringbone-traction gum rubber outsole.
