Inspired by the underground St. Petersburg clubs of post-Soviet Russia, the Nike Force 1 Fontanka TD ‘Pink Foam’ applies a monochromatic pastel finish to a reconstructed take on the vintage hoops shoe. Elastic no-tie laces secure a pink leather upper treated to a pieced-together DIY aesthetic, highlighted by misaligned overlays, offset stitching and soft felt construction on the Swoosh and heel tab. The sneaker rides on a matching pink rubber cupsole, accented with a red ‘cassette tape’ piece affixed to the lateral sidewall.
