The END. x Mastermind Japan x Vans Old Skool ‘White’ brings Masaaki Homma’s meticulous vision and rebellious attitude to the vintage skate shoe. A one-note ivory finish is executed on the upper, built with a traditional bend of canvas, leather and suede. The sneaker’s side stripes are molded and raised, while the low-cut collar is unfinished, leaving the interior foam padding exposed. Additional details include doubled-up tongues and Vans’ checkerboard print on the medial side panel. Anchoring the low-top is an off-white rubber midsole with ‘Mastermind’ stamped in block lettering on the lateral sidewall. Underfoot, a black and white checkerboard pattern is revealed beneath the translucent rubber outsole.
