Legendary LA tattoo artist, Mark Machado, was one of four artists selected in 2018 to collaborate with Vans to redesign a classic Vans sneaker in tribute to the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. The Disney x Mark Machado x Sk8-Hi sneaker sees its monochromatic canvas panel covered in a distinctive sketch featuring Mickey Mouse at the wheel of a vintage car, driving through an old-school Los Angeles neighborhood. Suede panels cover the toe, throat and heel, while an ‘Off The Wall’ bumper logo provides a hit of red at the heel.
