Designed by Bill Bowerman and originally released in 1972, The Nike Cortez Basic SL GS sneaker brings the iconic design to kids’ sizing. The Cortez was built to be lighter and more waterproof than any other shoe at the time, with a lightweight foam midsole that delivers incredible comfort. Made from a white leather upper, the sneaker adds pops of Varsity Red on the Swoosh and heel counter, and a stripe of Varsity Royal on the midsole.
