A collaboration with rapper Meek Mill, the Puma Clyde #Reform reworks the icon with a greater purpose—to help reform criminal justice in America. Made from suede, leather and corduroy in black, the August 2019-released shoe features red and white stitching for a DIY look. The shoe's tongue is printed with a quote from Olympian Tommie Smith, who famously held up a Black Power salute while receiving his gold medal for sprinting in 1968. Translucent red rubber on the outsole displays the movement's hashtag. Proceeds from original sales of the shoe went to The Reform Alliance.
