Former basketball player, salesman and trainer Charles 'Chuck' Taylor made his claim to fame with Converse in the 1920s and 30s and would eventually have his name printed on the All-Star brand's shoes in 1932. Remembering history, the upgraded Chuck Taylor All Star Hi comes in a 'Pale Putty' colorway for its July 2019 reissue. Sporting a recycled canvas upper, the shoe is accented by an All-Star logo at the ankle and text reading 'Life's too short to waste' on the side of the vulcanized rubber sole.
