A Bathing Ape was founded by multitalented Japanese taste-maker, Nigo, in 1993 Tokyo. The brand pioneered street fashion codes from the underground until being picked up by American hip hop icons in the aughts. 2002 saw the establishment of the Bapesta silhouette, redone here through the Bapesta FS-001 Low 'Red Yellow' sneaker. The shoe follows hoops-inspired design lines with bold color blocking and a sturdy cupsole construction.
