May 2019 saw the release of this 'Obsidian Mist' edition, tooling the Nike Air VaporMax 2019 with a contemporary palette that's energized with Laser Orange. The shoe features a stretch-woven upper reinforced with an internal TPE cage for midfoot stability. VaporMax cushioning, first seen on the original model in 2017, connects directly to the upper without any intermediary foam. Sections of rubber tread at high-wear areas help improve durability and traction.
