Nike Air Tailwind 79 'Gym Red'
Contrary to popular belief, the Nike Air Max 1 was not the first shoe to feature Nike Air, that title belongs to the Air Tailwind, a classic trainer that was unveiled at the Honolulu marathon in 1978. Re-released in February 2019, the Air Tailwind 79 'Gym Red' brought new life into the retro sneaker, donning a similar silhouette the original with updated flair. The red suede and mesh upper is accented by white leather Swooshes and padded with a cushioned Air unit.
