Air Tailwind 79 'Black University Gold'

The Nike Air Tailwind 79 ‘Black University Gold’ features materials and construction that remain faithful to the running shoe that debuted at the 1978 Honolulu Marathon. The upper combines black textile with grey suede overlays that wrap around the toe and heel. Contrasting pops of yellow land on the retro Swoosh and heel tab, marked with block-letter Nike branding. An encapsulated Air unit is housed in the foam midsole, supported underfoot by Nike’s iconic waffle outsole.
