The Nike Air Penny 4 was the last Penny Hardaway signature shoe released during his NBA playing career. This version, first seen in 1999 and re-released in 2009, comes in black, College Orange and Varsity Purple, a nod to the Phoenix Suns, Hardaway's team from 1999–2004. Designer Eric Avar incorporated an ankle strap with a patent leather upper and parallel stitching. The 'Cent' logo resides on an overlay that covers the laces and heel, while visible Max Air cushioning finishes the style.
