Inspired by early Nike history, the Air Max Plus 'Script Swoosh' was released August 10, 2019 along with three other iconic shoes to celebrate the birth of a world-famous logo. In 1971, Portland State design student Carolyn Davidson began working with Phil Knight and his footwear company, Blue Ribbon Sports. To brand a new line of shoes he'd developed, he asked her to make him a new logo, and the draft she sold him for $35 is prominently displayed on the side of this unique shoe.
