Taking cues from Japanese bullet trains and ripples of water, he applied wavy overlays to provide streamlined support and a fluid, aerodynamic look. Also taken with the metal-on-metal look of popular mountain bikes, he put a shimmering finish on the sneaker, similar to this kids' version.
