The Air Max 97 'Script Swoosh' was released August 10, 2019 along with other iconic Nike shoes that pay tribute to a world-famous logo in authentic graphic detail. Framed by a white leather body and black-and-red stitched trim, a synthetic mesh side panel displays designer Carolyn Davidson's first draft of the eventual Swoosh design trademark. A graphic artist working with Phil Knight's Blue Ribbon Sports in the 70s, Davidson sold the Nike CEO the Swoosh logo for just $35.
