In honor of Japan’s Children’s Day, Nike released the Koinobori pack in 2007. The design of the Nike Air Max 95 'Koi' sneaker was inspired by the carp-shaped windsocks flown to celebrate the traditional Japanese holiday. The shoe features a pastel-based upper treated with a graphic print that imitates the scales on a fish. Like the classic AM95, this model includes heel and forefoot Max Air cushioning units for responsiveness.
