The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Fresh Perspective’ gives the retro runner a utilitarian makeover. The upper combines grey woven textile with sage-colored leather overlays covered in swirling lines reminiscent of a topographic map. Contrasting hits of color arrive via an orange rubberized heel patch and yellow TPU eyelets. The same hues are repeated on a compass graphic stamped on the black nubuck mudguard. In a nod to outdoor gear, the sneaker is equipped with a canvas tongue and hiking-style rope laces that are overlaid with a buckled webbing strap. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a polyurethane midsole and an orange-tinged Max Air unit under the heel.
