With this August 2018 release, Nike updates the Air Max 1 with a classic ‘Bred’ colorway and an equally classic mesh and suede build. Dark grey is included in the form of a leather Swoosh and suede overlay at the top of the toe box, which is embroidered with a mini-Swoosh in white. The shoe adds another mini-Swoosh in red on the lateral-side toe wrap. Additional pops of red appear on the encapsulate Max Air unit and rubber outsole.
