Air Jordan 31 'Shattered Backboard'
Named for Michael Jordan’s famous dunk during an exhibition game in 1985, the Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard reinvents a recurring theme in the Air Jordan series. The orange, black and white color scheme — a nod to the uniform worn during MJ’s backboard smashing performance — returns in the 31 with a glitch gradient pattern appearing in the shoe’s Flyweave upper. Below, the sneaker features a recycled gum rubber outsole and Flightspeed midsole, which evenly distributes the weight of the foot.
