Air Jordan 1 OG 'Bred'
This OG black and red colorway from 1985 is the notorious ‘banned’ colorway, reportedly earning Michael Jordan a $5,000 fine every time he wore the shoe on court. Then-NBA commissioner David Stern had instituted a rule forbidding basketball sneakers that weren’t mostly white, but Nike gladly footed the bill. The sneaker, designed by Peter Moore, has gone on to become a worldwide icon.
