In 2018, adidas teamed up with Munich-based A Kind of Guise to create a new take on the UltraBoost. The A Kind of Guise x UltraBoost 'AKOG' features a Primeknit upper accented by a stitched rippled pattern, with a wraparound external lacing system that subtly acts as the Three-Stripes. A premium suede heel overlay has a debossed AKOG branding stamp, and contrast colors hit the heel and tongue pull tabs. A Boost midsole adds cushion, while the colorful outsole highlights the primarily monochrome colorway.
